Spartan Precision Equipment was founded in 2012 by Rob Gearing, who sought to create a superior rifle support system after years of frustration with existing gear. Gearing’s background in aviation engineering, particularly with rare earth magnets from his work on the Concord aircraft sculpture, directly influenced the design of the Javelin Bipod.
